Ingredients for Moong dal Recipe
- Oil
- 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 1 cup Moong dal Soaked for 1 Hour
- 1 chopped Tomato
- 1 chopped Onion
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1/4 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
- Salt to tastes
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 dry Red Chilli
- few Curry Leaves
Instructions
How to cook the recipe
- Heat oil in a pan add onion , tomato and saute for few minutes and then add Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, garam masala powder ,Coriander Powder and stir it and then cook it for 2 minutes on medium flame and add Soaked moong dal and stir it and add Salt ,add 2 cups water and cover it with lid and cook for 30 minutes on medium to low flame.
- Now take a pan add oil and Cumin seeds , dry red Chilli, Curry Leaves and slightly fry it and then turn off the flame and put it into Moong dal.
- Moong dal is ready.
