Ingredients
Ingredients for Veg Kurma
- 1 medium carrot cubed
- 2 medium potatoes cubed
- 1/3 cup chopped Beans
- ¼ cup green peas
- 1 Green Chili chopped
- 3 tbsps oil
- 5 cloves
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 Bay Leaf
- curry leaves
- 1 medium tomato chopped
- 1 large Onion finely chopped
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsps coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Salt to taste
- ½ inch ginger
- ½ inch garlic
- ½ cup coconut paste
- 1/2 cup curd (Secret ingredient)
- 1/2 cup raw milk (Secret ingredient)
Instructions
How to cook the recipe
- Heat oil in a pan, add cloves, bay leaves, mustard seeds and curry leaves and saute till seeds splutter. Add onion ,tomato ,green chili and saute for 2 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and red chili powder and mix. Add 1½ cups water and mix.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and Sauté for 2-minutes.
- Add carrot, potato and salt, cover and cook.
- Add coconut paste and green peas and mix well. Add beaten curd and raw milk.
- Cover and cook till vegetables are done.
- Serve Veg Kurma with chapati,parotta and Idiyappam.
