Tandoori Chicken Recipe -It Is an Indian Recipe That’s Marinated In Yogurt, Garam Masala And Cayenne Before Baking Made Easier .
Ingredients for Tandoori Chicken
- 2 Cups Greek yogurt
- 1 lemon juice
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp red chili powder
- 2 lb chicken legs
How to cook the recipe
- In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, garam masala, and turmeric and season with salt and red chili powder.
- Add chicken and toss until fully coated. Let marinate in the fridge at least 2 hours.
- When ready to bake, preheat oven to 420º and line a baking sheet with a wire rack. Bake chicken 20 minutes, then flip and bake 20 minutes. Heat broiler and broil until skin is crispy, 2 minutes.
- Serve with naan, and Indian flatbread, or with Indian style rice, with yogurt-based raita on the side.
