Ingredients for milagai bajji
- 6 Bajji chillies
- 1 cup gram flour
- 2 tbsp Rice flour
- salt to taste
- 3 tbsp cornflour
- 1/2 turmeric powder
- oil for frying
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 1/4 tbsp baking powder
- A pinch of hing
Instructions
How to cook the recipe
- Cut chillies into two pieces,Scoop out the seeds.
- In a large bowl, add gram flour, cornflour, rice flour, baking powder, pinch of hing, turmeric powder, salt to taste and red chilli powder mix well with water to make a smooth batter of pouring consistency.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Turn heat to medium.
- Dip the each chilli slice in the batter and deep fry them on medium flame.Fry till they are golden brown.
- Serve hot with chutney.
