- 3/4 kg Chicken cut into small pieces
- 2 nos green chilies slit
- 3 nos Onions sliced
- 3 spring curry leaves
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
To Marinate
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 2 tbsp coriander powder
- 3 tbsp pepper powder preferably freshly ground
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
Instructions
How to cook the recipe
- Marinate chicken with turmeric powder, pepper powder, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp, chili powder, cumin powder, salt and little oil. Mix well and set it aside covered for 30 min.
- Heat oil, saute onions, green chilies and curry leaves with a pinch of salt until onions start turning brown.
- Now add marinated chicken and mix well. close and cook until chicken is cooked. Do not add water as chicken tends to leave out water. Add only if necessary. stir in between and check water.
- Once chicken is cooked, open and let it cook until it is dry and roasted.
- Serve pepper chicken hot with rice or chapati or naan .
