Ingredients for Onion Bhaji

  • 2 cup Gram Flour
  • 3 sliced Onions
  • 1/2 Turmeric Powder
  • oil for fry
  • Pinch of hing
  • 1/4 tbsp baking powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • 3 tbsp cornflour
  • 1 tbsp rice flour

Instructions

How to cook the recipe

  • In a large bowl, add gram flour, cornflour, rice flour, pinch of hing, turmeric powder, salt to taste and red chilli powder mix well with water to make a smooth batter of pouring consistency.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Dip the onions in the batter and deep fry them on low flame.Fry till they are golden brown.
  • Serve hot with chutney.
