Easy and Dry Aloo gobi Recipe

Aloo gobi is a vegetarian dish from the Indian side dish made with potatoes(aloo) cauliflower and Indian spices. There are a number of variations and similar dishes, but the name remains the same. The common ingredients include garlic, ginger, onion, coriander, tomato, and cumin.

Ingredients

Ingredients for Aloo Gobi

  • 1 tsp red chilli Powder
  • 1 cup fried Potato
  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • Coriander Leaves
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric Powder
  • Oil
  • 3 Green Chillies
  • 1 cup fried Cauliflower
  • 1 tbsp ginger & garlic paste
  • 2 finely chopped Tomato
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

How to cook the recipe

  • Grind ginger, garlic and gren chillies together in a grinder to get a coarse grind.
  • Add oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and sauté till fragrant.Add the ginger garlic paste and saute it for a minute.
  • Add onion and sauté till onion turns golden brown.Add the tomatoes and green chilli and mix well.
  • Add turmeric powder , coriander powder, red chilli powder, garam masala, salt, coriander leaves and mix well and cook till the tomatoes are soft and pulp.
  • Add Potatoes and add cauliflower and mix well.Add 2 cup of water and cook it for 5-7 minutes.
  • switch off heat.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
