Dragon Chicken Recipe Indian Style

Dragon chicken is very easy to make and its tasty too. Dragon chicken prepared with cashews ,red chilli powder and  green ,red bell peppers ,medium spicy tangy tasty chicken starters / appetizer. This is a very hot and famous Indo-Chinese dish. It tastes awesome.

Indo Chinese Dragon Chicken Recipe | How to make Dragon Chicken Recipe

Dragon Chicken Recipe - It can be served as a side dish in accompaniment with fried rice and briyani or with chapati,naan or roti.

Ingredients

For Marination

  • 500 grams Chicken
  • 2 tsp Soy sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1/2 cup Corn flour
  • 1/4 cup All purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Red chili powder

For Sauce

  • Oil
  • 1 tbsp Red chili powder
  • 1 green ,red bell pepper
  • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 10 Cashews
  • 1 Onions
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Ketchup
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • Water

Instructions

For Marination

  • Marinate the chicken with ginger , garlic paste, red chilli powder , black pepper ,corn flour ,all purpose flour ,egg ,soy sauce and salt and mix well . keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  • Add oil in a pan and deep fry chicken until golden brown. Drain it on an absorbent paper.

For Sauce

  • Heat oil in a pan, add cashews ,fry till the cashew turn golden brown.
  • Add onions, green ,red ,bell pepper and fry well in the oil.
  • Add ginger garlic paste and add red chili powder, soy sauce ,ketchup ,salt, sugar, and mix well.
  • Add some water and cook it for 5-7 minutes till the water evaporates and sauce thickens.Now add in the fried chicken and mix well in the sauce.
  • Serve hot.
