Ingredients
Ingredients for Paruppu Rasam
- Oil 2 tsp
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 2-3 green chilies
- 1 Onion slices
- 1 tsp Garlic
- Salt to taste
- 2 Red chilies
- 1 sprig Curry leaves
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 cup toordal water boiled or chana dal
- 1/2 cup Tamarind juice
- 1 bunch Coriander leaves
Instructions
How to cook the recipe
- Add some oil in a hot pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, green chilies, onion slices, garlic and saute it.
- Now add salt , red chilies, curry leaves, turmeric, and mix well.
- After 2 min of cooking add boiled chana dal water and tamarind juice.
- After 2-3 min of boiling add coriander leaves and switch off the flame.
- Serve with rice
