Corn Pulao Recipe - Corn Pulao is one of the variants of pulao which has become a favourite over the years.Kids will love it for their lunch box and it is great yet simple recipe for small get-together and parties.It not only looks colourful but is also very healthy.

Ingredients

Ingredients for Corn Pulao

  • 90 grams Onions
  • 1 tbsp Ginger
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 Green chili
  • 6 grams Mint
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 1 inch Cinnamon stick
  • 3 Cardamom
  • 3 Cloves
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
  • 125 grams Sweet corn
  • 70 grams Green peas
  • 300 grams Soaked rice
  • 500 milliliters Water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

How to cook the recipe

  • In a bowl, add onions,ginger, cloves of garlic, green chili, mint and blend it into a smooth paste.
  • Heat ghee in a pan, add bay leaf, cinnamon stick, cardamoms, cloves and stir well.
  • Add the onion mint paste in it and stir again.
  • Now, add turmeric, garam masala, red chili powder and mix well.
  • Add sweet corn, green peas and stir well.
  • Then, add soaked rice, water,salt and mix well.
  • Cover it with a lid and cook for 20 minutes or till the rice are cooked.
  • Serve hot
