Ingredients
Ingredients for Coconut Chutney
- 1 cup Grated coconut
- 3 green chili
- 1 tbsp Fried gram dal
- 1 Garlic
- Salt to taste
For Tempering
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp Urad dal
- 1 tsp Oil
- Curry leaves a spring
Instructions
How to cook the recipe
- In a blender add coconut, green chili, gram dal, garlic and salt. Grind it into paste adding little water.
- Now heat oil in a small pan add mustard seeds, after it splutters add urad dal, after it turns golden brown and add curry leaves.
- Switch off the flame pour it on to the chutney.
- Serve with dosa or idli
