Coconut Chutney - It is a delicious and easy to make south indian style chutney with dosa and idli.Using roasted chana ,green chili and coconut.

Ingredients

Ingredients for Coconut Chutney

  • 1 cup Grated coconut
  • 3 green chili
  • 1 tbsp Fried gram dal
  • 1 Garlic
  • Salt to taste

For Tempering

  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Urad dal
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • Curry leaves a spring

Instructions

How to cook the recipe

  • In a blender add coconut, green chili, gram dal, garlic and salt. Grind it into paste adding little water.
  • Now heat oil in a small pan add mustard seeds, after it splutters add urad dal, after it turns golden brown and add curry leaves.
  • Switch off the flame pour it on to the chutney.
  • Serve with dosa or idli
