Ingredients
Ingredients for Baby potato Fry
- 15 Boiled Baby potato
- 4 tbsp Oil
- 1/4 tbsp Cumin seed
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1/4 tbsp Asafoetida
- 1 tbsp Kasmiri chilli powder
- 1/4 tbsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Prepared masala powder
- Salt as required
- Fresh curry leaves
For masala powder:
- 1 tbsp Coriander seed
- 1/2 tbsp Cumin seed
- 1/2 tbsp Fennel seed
- 1 tbsp Pepper corns
- 1 tbsp Chana dal
- Fresh curry leaves
- 1/2 tbsp Sesame seeds
Instructions
How to cook the recipe
- First step Dry roast the coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, pepper corn, chana dal, curry leave and sesame seeds, till it turns golden brown color.
- Cool it and grind it into a fine powder, masala powder is ready.
- Heat 4 tbsp oil in a pan, add cumin seeds once start spluttering add the ginger garlic paste and saute it, add asafoetida powder, kasmiri chilli powder and turmeric powder, saute it for few minutes, now add the boiled baby potatoes, salt and prepared masala powder.Mix it well, till all the potatoes are coated well with masala powder.Roast it for few minutes and then turn off the stove.
- Serve hot with rice.
