Ingredients
Ingredients for Baby corn masala
- 1 cup baby corn chopped
- 1 small capsicum sliced
- 1 cup water
- 5 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp fresh cream
- 2 tbsp curd
- 2 Tomato paste
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic paste
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper powder
- 3/4 tsp Garam masala
- 10 Cashew paste
- 1 tbsp Kasuri methi
- Coriander leaves
- mint leaves
- Salt as required
To grind:
- 7-8 dry red chilli soaked 20 mins
- 1 large onion chopped
Instructions
How to cook the recipe
- Heat 3 tbsp oil in a pan, add chopped baby corn and capsicum saute for 2-3 mins and keep it aside.
- In the same pan add 1 tbsp oil, add kasuri methi, ginger garlic paste and saute for 1 min, then add grinded onion red chilli paste saute till the raw smell goes and add little salt, tomato paste cook it for 2 minutes.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, chilli powder, garam masala and salt to taste and stir well on medium flame until it reaches gravy consistency.
- Add fried baby corn and capsicum mix well and add water cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Open the lid, add cashew paste, fresh cream and curd mix well, add kasuri methi, pepper powder and coriander leaves, mint leaves and mix well.
- serve hot with chapathi/rice,paratha/pulao.
