Ingredients

Ingredients for Chicken marinating

  • 1/2 kg Chicken
  • 2-3 Onion Fried and Chopped
  • 1/4 cup Oil
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp Red Chilli Powder

For Garam Masala

  • 5-7 Black Pepper
  • 1 Black cardamom
  • 6 Cloves
  • 2 Cinnamon
  • 1 Star anise
  • 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 3 Green cardamom

For rice

  • 1/2 kg Rice
  • (Soaked for 1 Hour and Boiled for 5 minutes on high flame
  • 1/4 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Mint Chopped
  • Kewra Essence Some Drops
  • 1 cup Coriander leave chopped
  • 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1/4 tsp Yellow Color

Instructions

How to cook the recipe

  • Take a bowl add Yogurt, Red Chilli Powder, Ginger Garlic Paste, Salt, Black cardamom, Turmeric Powder, Nutmeg Powder, Cinnamon, Star anise, Cloves, Black Pepper, Green cardamom, Garam Masala Powder, Fried Onion and mix it well and then add Chicken and mix it well and then add Oil and mix it well and cover it and rest it for 1 hour.
  • Now take a pan and add marinated chicken and add Green Coriander, Mint, Lemon Juice and add boiled rice and add Milk and now add some milk into yellow color and mix it well and sprinkle on rice and then sprinkle some drops of kewra Essence and cover it with lid and cook it for 5-10 minutes on high flame and after 5 minutes use very low flame and cook it for 40 minutes.
  • Mughlai chicken biryani is ready.
